Sufficient Grace

Tried and not passing. Ever have so many days in a row of being off your game? I feel as if the harder I try to walk the narrow path, the more resistance I bump up against.
In my sour mood the Lord spoke to me as I prepared our after church meal today.
In the sometimes thankless deeds of the everyday, the Lord sent me this reminder of His unconditional love!! Background information.  I learned quite young to smell the bag of potatoes before you buy! I know, that may sound strange,  but I have rarely had a bag of taters that have spoiled ones in the mix. Well, dear hubby shopped with me and picked up a large bag of spuds this week. Because of the poor place I have aloud myself to be of late, I just let it ride and brought them home. Yes, I have had to toss some out because they were not good. Herein lays the lesson. Now you can see this picture as the thought of two bound as one, (as in marriage) or perhaps, like me, you see the heart. A well recognized symbol of love. Yep, I had to clean up my attitude.....(so I napped after lunch and prayer)!! But on another level, Christ is fully aware of and loves all of us, even when we are all mixed with the less than good taters of this world!! In 2 Corinthians 12:9 the words read: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
I will continue in this world to be less than perfect, full of weakness and shortcomings. I rest in the knowledge that Christ bore the burden of my sin and waits for me to return to Him, daily!
Be blessed and find the love you are in need of in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

It's so important for us to check our attitudes daily, and make sure that our focus is on the Lord! What a difference it makes, right?
