Friday May 6, 2011

I am a little late today, ok, much late!!  I want to share the FOF104 over at CPC. Because of the celebration of the second year the challenge is to make any project with two of anything in it! So here goes:
While considering the light of Christ and the reflection of his love demonstrated by Cindy in her devotion to seeing the dream of CPC come into being, I was struck by the thought of using some of the really great 'light' stamps I have collected. But when it came time to put it to paper, this is what appeared.
With the help of the cricut, the GATE and ENJOY appeared to represent the gates of heaven, because is there anything more enjoyable than the love of Christ?
The Pearls along the edges cannot begin to reflect the beauty of heaven one day we shall behold! The stick pin, beautiful with its finery, has the sharp end to pierce through. The cap on the end is some protection from harm.
FOF104 {5-6-11}
Genesis 1:16 God made two lights.The greater light to govern the day; the lesser light to govern the night.

Thank you for joining us in the celebration of the second birthday of CPC. Cindy opened this sharing community to serve the Lord, bringing others to Jesus. God is our light here, shining in the threads as members support one another in prayer and encouragement. There has been much growth in the past two years. As spoken in this verse from Genesis, God created two lights. Just as the moon is a reflection of the suns brighter light, Cindy's leadership and devotion to Christ and this sight is a reflection of Christ's love for each of us.
Join us this week in the continuing celebration of two successful years for Christian Paper Crafts, by using pairs of anything on your creation! Two colors, two of each embellishment, Two stamps. Let your creative juices flow as you join in the party!
So grateful, to you Cindy for being willing to shine!
As you will see, the "two" I choose here do not match in any way, except they are embellishments!! When I start a project with something in mind, it almost never works that way! So I invite you, in whatever way you are inspired, share with us in the gallery! Then bring a link to this thread so we can enjoy your work!
You can see my sample here

Use the keyword FOF104 in the CPC gallery and CPC-FOF106 on your blog or other online galleries. Look forward to sharing with all of you in the week of celebration for a place to share our love of God and our love of paper!
