Time in a bottle

Jim Croce an artist with a music career, cut short by his tragic death in a plane crash in 1973, sang the words, if I could put time in a bottle, the first thing that I'd like to do, is to save every day, until eternity passes away, just to spend them with you.

Well, time, as we understand it, will pass away. Eternity is never ending. The world we live in is a temporary dwelling place. Everyday we make decisions that will determine where we spend eternity. There are so many times, I personally fall short of my goal, to bring glory and honor to God in all things I do.

So, when people I know and love, make decisions that are in direct conflict with the Word of God, am I more accountable for the concern I voice or the ones I withhold?

It is such a struggle for me to hold my tongue. I am careful not to raise my voice, or judge. IS Concern for the loved ones, sinful?

If I could put time in a bottle, I savor the time spent in innocence, before the world view corrupts our very being.
