Psalms

Brenda, quiet in her faith, faltering from time to time, as we all do, in the end found great comfort in the knowledge that Jesus is the rock that sustains.
Psalms is full of reminders of the great strength of the rock on which we stand.

ROCK, a relatively hard naturally formed aggregate of mineral matter, that forms a large part of the earth’s surface. Hmm. Food for thought. The Lord is often referred to as the Rock, sometimes as the Salt of the earth. Both minerals, essential for life.
The Book of Psalms is a place to go and read and meditate on Gods Word. David is a reminder that no matter how far from God we stray, He will never forsake us.
Lifting my eyes to the hill, walking thru a valley of the shadow of death, crying out in desperation, have you forgotten me? There is the consistency that Jesus is with us and is our strength.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
