SNOW!!

How fun it was to see the first wonderful snow of winter...when I was small! The magic never goes away for young children across the generations. My sister and her family arrived before coffee this morning from Alabama, I am delighted they are spending Thanksgiving here in Ohio.  I sometimes yearn for the days of great family gatherings for the holiday season. I wonder how we have pushed that aside for the busy-ness of our day?
Well that may be another whole story, posted or not!! But  I want to share the excitement of snow in Ohio after an all night drive from down south!
A 'handprint' snow angel!

Then there is that elation of playing in the snow in your jamies!!

  1. Hi, Robyn! The snow is so beautiful, but I have to admit that I'm glad it's not here in Indiana yet!! So happy that you will be spending Thanksgiving with your sister. Hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving week!! Love and hugs, Angie

  2. I just love your posts, Robyn. . .so very encouraging and God honoring. Praying for you that the Lord would continue to give you strength, wisdom and comfort and great joy, too! May He soothe your heart as you continue to mourn the loss of loved ones (pets included!) and other less significant, but impactful, losses! So thankful for you! So, when are you coming out to Arizona? Weather's nice and sunny in the high 60's, low 70's. Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. Jan, I am pleased for your visit, and I would be in Az in an instant, if it were possible! Love how the Lord becomes visible in our lives as we open our eyes to see Him!
Angie, Thanks for stopping by!! The kids were delighted yesterday morning when there was snow!! We bundled them as best as we could and out they went! warmed with hot chocolate when they retuned to the warmth of the wood stove!!

  4. The snow looks wonderful! I hope we will get a little snow down here this winter. It happens once in a while, if only enough to last a day or two. Happy New Year!
